At any level of the game (better if you just started) go to the fort located just under the Imperial City called Vindasel.
There is a woman named Umbra there, she won't attack you first but she carries a very powerful sword and full body armor.
The sword allows you to soul trap people/animals and has high attacking points.
She's hard to kill but trust me it's worth it.
