Make a drain skill (whatever skill you want to train in) spell 100 points for 5 seconds on self at arcane university or whatever that other place was.

Then go to the trainer and cast it, then train and you can stay with that trainer forever (you gotta cast the spell right before you train every time though.

Also, the cost training cost resets each time you cast the spell!
