Go to the Peryitte's Shrine where all the people are unconscious.

Push the people round to the back of the statue dragon then duplicate some swords (about 50 will do).

Hot key them to the top of the D pad so when the sword breaks you just simply press up on the D pad and it will change swords instead of taking the time to repair them all the time.

Hack away and all you have to do is keep hold of the attack button.

Watch some TV or something and just keep checking on your progress.

Note: use the elastic band method to keep the attack button down. Peryitte's Shrine is located right from Bravil you will see Silverfish River and it is just on top of the start of the word River, put a marker on it and head to it.
