All you need is the Amulet of Disintegration from the Shivering Isles, duplicates of the same scroll and repair hammers.

1: Put on some armor.
2: Equip the amulet. Take it off and on as many times as it takes for your defense rating to be 0.
3: Use your hammers to repair your armor.

Keep doing this until you only have one repair hammer.

Then just use the scroll duplication glitch to duplicate your hammers.
