It appears that Bethesda may have made a booboo when they set the stats on a few of the Sigil Stones. First, to take advantage of this glitch you must be able to choose your Sigil Stone effect. To do this activate the Stone and save before it is added to your inventory. Now continue and as soon as it says the stone has been added to your inventory press B. The following stones are glitched.

* Shock Damage - Descendent = 15pts (should be 5pts)
* Shock Damage - Subjacent = 20pts (should be 10pts)
* Shock Shield - Latent = 25pts (should be 16pts)
* Frost Shield - Latent = 25pts (should also be 16pts)

If you find that you havne't gotten one of the Glitched stoned just press start and load the save you just made. Repeat until you achieve the desired glitched sigil stone. This could take some time so dont be expecting it to be instanious. The fact that it works with Oblivion's latest patch makes up for the wait though.

Hint: Try getting the Shock Damage 15pts stone when you are in your first oblivion portal in Kvatch. Save it and apply it to a Akaviri Katana when you become a blade and you will be ripping through your enemies like a hot knife through butter. I became arena champion at level 3 thanks to that sword and the glitched stone!
