Buy the olympia shotgun off the wall at bottom of the stairs and get to round 5.
Open the door at the top of the stairs and open the next door, switch to your pistol and buy the MP40 at bottom of stairs.
Kill the dogs (they will come around round six or 7) and then open the next door.
Look around for power and go from there...
