When/if you get the glitch where you start without a gun showing, then press RB to throw all of your grenades away (it has to be all of them).

Before they explode start knifing, after they explode then start knifing again and you will have no weapons but you have invisible knifing.

It is also rumored that you can knife from a slightly longer distance.
