Go to the upstairs window and you will hopefully see a slight blue light emanating from beyond the window towards the floor.

This blue light is the box glow beneath you on the first room on the bottom.

The light will always be there, however it takes judgement to tell wether the light is "blue enough".

If the box isn't there just keep restarting the game until it is there.
