In the starting room there are 2 pillars. Stand at the one nearest the help door, then sprint towards the ruins beneath the stairs.

When you sprint, jump an crouch in mid-air.

Land at the see through part of the wall and turn around.

Press A to stand up, and if it says 'can't stand here', then there should be an invisible wall around you.
