Cheat:
o do this you must have the Detect Life magic spell, or otherwise Detect Dead. I prefer Detect Life.

Get out your Detect Life spell or Detect Dead spell and use it (best place to use it is in cities).

You should level up after you use it (you should level up faster if you're at a low level in Alteration).

Simply keep doing this and you'll level up in Alteration fast.
