Cheat:
At the start of the game you will go with Hadvar and Ralof to a Keep in Handcuffs.

Once you arrive ask Hadvar to remove the handcuffs and go straight for the sword that you can see on the wall and attack Hadvar with it relentlessly.

This will level up your one-handed sword skill. Once he has taken a beating and fallen to the floor stop and wait for him to get back to his feet. Just keep going!

While here you can also level 'sneak' by walking away from Hadvar when he is by the door and then sneaking up on him before attacking him with the sword once. Continue doing this until level 32, from there on you can stand behind him and hit him once every 6 seconds!

The same can be done later on in the game for the 2 handed sword skill: Once you get to the point where Hadvar gives you the boe and arrow continously attack Hadvar with the two handed sword as before to level up!
