On Crow's Nest, at the area where the enemy ship comes, there are stairs that lead up to a boxed area.

There is a computer in there, and if you look at one of the screens (it shows surveillance of a hallway on it), the face of Cortana should pop up.

It may seem scary from afar, but if you zoom into the picture, it's really not that bad.
