You can get a plasma rifle with ease - all you have to do is have a good speech skill then do the replicated man (you get it from Zimmer).

Either have 100 picklocking skill or swim under water into the broken bow.

In the broken bow you will find a guy named Pinkerton (he did facial reconstruction on the android).

Find out who the android is, but don't go tell Zimmer. Instead tell the android to go back.

Depending on speech skill level do the first speech and tell him - people will kill him once they find out who he is.
