Looks like Bethesda has been copping a wee bit of heat from some users wanting an update patch for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim to be released ASAP. Pete Hines, VP of PR and Marketing at Bethesda, had this to say on Twitter:
We are continuing to work on an update for all platforms to address any bugs and perf issues we can, patches/updates take a little time. We can’t turn it around quite that fast. It’s been three days. Calm down. We’re working on it.
Pete has also made several follow up tweets telling people to relax, while also explaining that he doesn’t yet know what the exact content of the patch will be. I know of the texturing issues that some Xbox 360 users have been experiencing, but how about you in-game experiences? There are already several glitches out for infinite gold, infinite sprint and infinite magicka (amongst other things), so it will be interesting to see the extent to which they are patched!
Hines gave no ETA on when we can expect to see the update patch, but with some impatient gamers onto them, it looks like Bethesda are going to try and get it out ASAP.
