Mass Effect 3, what can be considered the first blockbuster game of 2012, has launched and can be found in retail stores everywhere in North America. Those of you in Europe will need to wait until 9 March to get your hands on it though.
Despite what has been a highly anticipated launch, the game is getting a serious workover at MetaCritic and whilst receiving almost universal acclaim from critics, Mass Effect 3 has so far only managed users scores of 4.8/10 on the Xbox 360, 3.4/10 on the Playstation 3 and 2.7/10 on the PC. The range of complaints is wide, however one recurring theme is the day 1 DLC and also a poor story.
