Cheat:
For this to work you will have to be with the mages guild.
You must be able to go through the iron gates at the arcane university.
Go to the Praxographical Center then enter and walk over to the spell maker and make the spell feather (roughly 6 of them).
If you're a master at alteration you can make its duration 100%, so if you have 5 of those spells it will give 500 more space.
For example if you can only carry 300 weight and you have 5 of those spells you'll be at 800 weight. You must activate the spell for it to work.

Note: if you go ahead and use 5 feather spells at 100, You will not be able to use any feather potions at the same time. Some feather potions can be over 200 points. So if you use the 5 feather spells followed by 5 feather potions, the spells will take effect and not allow you to use the full potential of the potions.
