NPD sales data for October 2011 is out and no prizes for guessing what the top-selling title was – Battlefield 3! Microsoft also did exceedingly well with the Xbox 360 and had their best October month ever, sales being up 20% year over year. That held the Xbox 360 with a 44% share of the current generation console market in the United States.
