Cheat:
Buy some of the birds of paradise plants seeds, plant them all, then use the multicoloured fertiliser 3 times on each one.
Once they're all fully grown they will be worth 1440 chocolate coins each!
They grow fairly quickly as well, giving you a huge profit.
This is an easy way I found that gives you the 100,000 chocolate coins achievement.
