Left 4 Dead 2′s “Cold Stream” DLC Delayed for Xbox 360

After recently announcing that they were finally ready to release the much-anticipated “Cold Stream” DLC pack on Xbox 360, Valve has recently announced that the content heavy download isn’t quite ready for primetime. The company previously claimed that the fresh content was on track for its July 24th release date, but released a statement today stating that they are unsure of an ETA.

Valve has a history of delaying their games, but considering that most of the DLC for Xbox 360 has been available (for free) on PC for quite some time now, it seems a bit odd that the company has taken so long to release the content. Whether new fixes or updates are also in the works is unknown, however we do know that the pack will contain all of the patches and content released thus far for Left 4 Dead 2 for the obnoxiously awkward, yet modest sum of 560 Microsoft Points ($7).

Valve has yet to release an updated release date, but you can be sure that we’ll update this post when we hear something. Until then, stay tuned to Xbox 360 Cheats for more on dumb delays, Left 4 Dead 2, and more.
