Does a game's platform influence its EDGE score?

TrendAnalyst blog writes: Every time EDGE magazine reviews a Playstation 3 exclusive, they are accused of bias by PS3 supporters, who are then mocked as fanboys who aren't satisfied with anything other than perfect scores for their beloved exclusives. EDGE are known to be harsh graders, and some respect them for using the full 1-10 scale instead of using 7-10 scale like the mainstream gaming press. The counter argument is that EDGE reviews every game harshly and it's pointed out that for every PS3 exclusive that gets low scores like Heavy Rain, there is an equivalent 360 exclusive. To investigate whether EDGE is just harsh overall, or if it truly judges and scores games based on their platform, blogger TrendAnalyst made a comparison chart of the top 30 games from each platform, as well as the top 30 multiplatform games. Mass Effect 2 Carried Over 700 Plot "Hooks" From Original Game Saves

Kotaku: Players of the original Mass Effect had a big impact on the story of the second, if they imported their character save from the first game. BioWare imported some 700 player choices and associated plot points into Mass Effect 2. BioWare lead cinematic designer Armando Troisi said during today's Mass Effect 2 Game Developers Conference session that it was "the small things" that mattered when carrying over player data from the original Xbox 360 and PC sci-fi role-playing game. ResumePlay Takes Blur for a Spin (360 Beta)

ResumePlay has spent the last few days playing the beta for Blur, one of this spring's high-octane street racers. Its being developed by Bizarre Creations, the makers of the Project Gotham Racing series. PGR earned them a good reputation, and from the look of Blur so far, it could get even better.
