First you will need to find a mushroom biome (has giant mushrooms and gray ground, mostly on islands).

Mooshrooms are rare. They are red and white cows with large pupils and have three spotted mushrooms.

They can be bred with wheat and will follow their offspring until adulthood.
They will not follow you if they have a child.

You can shear them for mushrooms but they will turn into a normal cow!
