Cheat:
On the level that has the force fields in the middle of the map, the first thing to do is upgrade your standard infantry so they take medics.

Escort them to the field generators in the middle, and capture them to turn on the shields.

Now most of what the Covenant throws at you will be ineffective because the medics will heal faster than the aliens can damage.

Bide your time so that you can upgrade to orbital drop shock troopers (ODST).

You can drop 8 at a time from orbit anywhere you already have men available.

Make sure you capture all empty bases on your side of the field as quickly as possible, as this will ensure maximum troop numbers.

Drop one ODST just beyond the gate and walk him to an enemy base, then drop hell on them with orbital troop drops until every empty troop slot is filled.

The base will easily be destroyed, and use specials to use rockets/grenades.

Go from base to base, replacing dead troops, until the enemy is dead. Take the empty bases to ensure the enemy does not retake them, which will also increase maximum troop slots.
