When you start the game you'll be given a tutorial that teaches how to use different classes.

When you're asked to use the bowmen select your infantry or cavalry and attack the enemy.

You will gain experience as normal which makes the first missions alot easier as your troops will be a higher level.

Use the bowman to kill the designated troops when your ready to move on.
