When you're battling a big henchman and those pesky regular henchman are tearing you a new one, save each armor upgrade till you are about to die and then use it.

It will completely fill your health meter up and you will then have twice the life to beat them.

Note only use the health upgrade when you need it and make sure you have a upgrade going into new places where you might meet a gigantic foe!
