On the newly colonized planets of tomorrow insurrection is brewing. Earth sends out the 8th Armored Infantry (Section 8) to hold off the battle. The name Section 8 refers to an old military rule where soldiers could be dismissed from duty for being too mentally ill for duty. The missions this group takes on are certainly enough to make others wonder about their mental fitness. To deploy, the group "burns in" from drop ships that orbit above the battlefield. With them they take the most advanced cache of military hardware in history.
