To get rank 1 quicker, simply use a fast car and go to the golf course and drift (and e-drift) a lot and get air time as well.
You will accomplish achievements too, which means extra money for accomplishing those achievements.
Just chain your drifts and air time and you will be set... if you don't want to buy a fast car, wait for the rare cars and use the Bugatti (that's what I did) and then you will be ranked 1 in no time!
