Cheat:
When you start off, you should let the zombies in. Shoot them about 4 times with a pistol on round 1, and then knife for more points.

Every round, keep this strategy, but add 1 more shot when you go to the next round, until round 4.

Then, open the Thomspon rooms. Go down, don't turn on the power yet though.

Random if you have enough, and fend off the zombies till first wave of dogs. Then turn on the power.

Keep randoming until you get a good gun that will get you lots of pints (ex. Browining).

Then open the doors when you get a crawler. Get Juggernog.

Then link everything. Eventually Pack A Punch will be open and you can upgrade.

Buy some Betties, and retreat to the catwalk. Stand close to the edge, so if you need to escape, jump off.

Place Betties behind you. Back up and the Betties will protect you.

When you get enough, upgrade your weaker weapon. Use that until you have enough to upgrade your second weapon.

You should probobly get Speed Cola too. Keep this up and you can get to high rounds.

I got to round 22 because of this (Solo). Here are all the gun prices:
