Go to this website - http://halo.xbox.com/en-us/Career/haloreach/Challenges - and set a custom challenge for yourself. The goals for 500 or 1,000 kills are what will get you all the credits. Just play something like SWAT where you get heaps of kills and medals and then you'll be well on your way to getting the credits.
My advice is to try some different game types and see how it goes!
