We finally have an official, new release date for Kinect Star Wars and the Xbox 360 Limited Edition “Kinect Star Wars” console bundle – 3 April is the big day you need to circle in your calendars!
As you can see the console is styled in a similar fashion to R2D2 and you also get a gold controller (gold being the official color and design of C-3PO). By purchasing the console, you’ll also get an exclusive C-3PO unlockable to use in Kinect Star Wars’ dance mode.
Now, onto the price. The entire bundle, including the console, controller, Kinect device and game will set you back $449 and can be purchased at Amazon here.
I have to say that this is one of the more appealing, and definitely one of the more collectable, themed Xbox 360 consoles that Microsoft have released. The game, Kinect Star Wars, looks decidedly average on the other hand.
