Deadpool: The Game Officially Announced, Developed by High Moon Studios

Marvel fans around the world are certainly pumping their fists in the air after Activision and High Moon Studios, developers of Transformers: War for Cybertron, officially put comic book fans on notice with the announcement of Deadpool: The Game. The Merc With a Mouth has always been deserving of his own game, and finally the good folks at High Moon have decided to give Wade Wilson his own, hopefully badass game. Hit the jump for the killer announcement trailer!

From the looks of things, High Moon Studios really understands the essence of Deadpool’s character, and with Nolan North voicing the fourth-wall-breaking, wisecracking, katana-wielding mercenary, things are looking to be shaping up quite nicely. But don’t take my word for it, have a look for yourself!

The art style looks to emulate that of the comics, but still retains all of that current-gen polish we’ve come to expect from big budget titles. Little is known about the game other than you’ll be killing a lot of dudes and cracking a lot of jokes. Sounds fun to us!

Stay tuned for more on Deadpool: The Game as it develops.
