You need a Taffly and a Firebrand (Tiki torch).

Direct the Taffly to the Firebrand and let it catch fire. Once it does, extinguish it with the water can. It will evolve into a RedHott. Sell that and make an easy 2000+.

This works best if you purchase the house and two Taffly's and you are set to have a money machine. BTW, yellow fertilizer works pretty good on the daisies to get more than one per plant, usually 2-3 per.
