Activision 'Drumming' Up New Hero Game

PlayStation LifeStyle writes: Guitar Hero is the third highest selling franchise of all time, right behind Mario, and Madden, both of which have become house hold names. The massive sales and immediate popularity after it's original release back in 2005 have sparked numerous music-based "Hero" games with the hopes of having similar success. Tomb Raider: Underworld is also known as Tomb Raider 8. It is the eighth game of the Tomb Raider series. Tomb Raider: Underworld, based on additional features of exploration-based game play has been developed fully using new technologies. The main character is Lara Croft who is fearless and adventurous. Animation blending system provides the facility to make dynamic interactions with the environment. Hybrid lighting model combines dynamic lights with carefully created light maps and weather system changes the environment. As Lara explores some of the most exotic and vibrant locales around the world, which seem very lively because of high-definition graphics and visual effects the perilous forces will rise only to be subdued by Tomb Raider. The game is aptly supported by Xbox 360 platform.
