- Game Description: If you love guitar, then Power Gig: Rise of the Six String will take you to a world where music is king. In this universe, the world has its own mythology, heroes, villains, politics, and settings. The technology in Power Gig represents the next step in technology of music performance games, whether you've never picked up a guitar, or whether you're a guitar master. The result is a much more fun and authentic experience, with two play modes. If you've played band games with beat-matching, you'll the beat-matching mode enjoyable, and if you are a fan of chord play, you'll dig Power Gig mode. With chording, you'll have the added challenge of using chords requiring exact finger placement on the strings. As you progress through Power Gig: Rise of the Six String, you'll become more familiar with the real guitar, learning real power chords. As a possible “side effect” you'll learn some of the actual fundamentals of playing a real six-string.
