Dave Cox is a great producer for Konami but it appears that there's a sign of doubt within the Lord Of Shadow release this year, not being able to fully compete with Uncharted 2's greatness may pose a threat to the expected success of Castlevania. Alan Wake developers respond to the in-game graphics debate: "The actual cinematics are all separate pre-rendered video files. We do have some sequences where we do what I guess could be called real-time cutscenes (like the "reveal camera" moments, for example), but percentagewise, those are definitely in the minority. All of the cinematics have been rendered by our game engine, though. It's just that we use more high-resolution models because the camera tends to be a lot closer to the characters than during gameplay, and we throw in a bunch of post-processing to make things look very pretty." SFG writes: The Project Natal hype train has taken on a life of its own. At E3 09 Microsoft set the media on fire with the announcement of Project Natal and the tech world went nuts. It was the talk of the town. The bad part is that the hype train was headed to Casualville without even a slight detour towards Hardcore land. Sony has come out swinging recently with the PS3 Move, Sonys version of motion control for this generation and Nintendo has their thing going on with the Wii that Microsoft has to step up its own game with Project Natal. It is very possible that Microsoft "breaks bad" and shows off some games intended for the hardcore gamer. It has been said that MS has many third party developers making games for Natal, what better place or time then to show them than at E3?
