Cheat:
At the beginning of the game, select the American region on the normal difficulty settings.
Win the first 3 races, go to upgrades, then go to the up grade right before the powertain swap (sorry,I forgot what it is called) 2nd upgrade and press X+RT at the same time on it.
It should say, sell it for 0 credits? Press A and you will get 5,000 credits.
