While it does come with manga inspired graphics as many of the previous Dragon Ball Z fighting games did, it also brings a whole lot more to the table. This new game comes with a wide assortment of playable characters from the DBZ universe. The head turning new feature, however, are the destructible battlefields. Powerful attacks will now blow away trees, leaving only large craters in their wake. Aside from the exciting player versus player aspect that comes with all fighting games, there is also a more fleshed out story mode that allows players to interact with all of their favorite as well as their not so favorite characters from the rich DBZ universe. The battle system is not overly complex, and lends itself to both casual as well as hardcore gamers, making it a great game to play with just about anyone.
