The steps described below are the required tasks to complete the Exotic Weapon Bounties, which give you Exotic Weapons as rewards.

Name: A Voice in the Wilderness
Reward: Super Good Advice (machine gun)
Steps:
1. Use a machine gun to kill 500 enemies.
2. Find A Mournful Gun as loot on Mars.
3. Go to Xur, Agent of the Nine, and buy an ammunition module with a Strange Coin.
4. Go to the Gunsmith with the frame.
Alternate steps:
1. Find A Recalcitrant Gun as loot on Mars and take it to the Gunsmith.
2. Go to Xur, Agent of the Nine, and buy an ammunition module with a Strange Coin.
3. Use a machine gun to kill 500 enemies.
4. Go to the Gunsmith with the frame.

Name: A Light in the Dark
Reward: Thorn (handgun)
Steps:
1. Go to the Moon and play the Summoning Pit Strike mission.
2. Fight the Hive on the Moon until you earn 500 points. Each kill is worth 2 points, except for killing Hallowed Knights, which is worth 20 points.
3. Go to the Crucible and use Void Damage on Guardians until you earn 500 points. Each kill is worth 5 points, and you lose 2 points each time you die.
4. Go to the Speaker and trade a Mote of Light for an Infusion of Light.
5. Play the Summoning Pit Strike mission again, at Level 26, to reach the special version in which you battle Xyor the Unwed. Defeat Xyor.

Name: An Unknown Patron
Reward: Fate of All Fools (scout rifle)
Steps:
1. Play and win 5 matches in the Crucible.
2. Finish The First Test through feats of skill while playing in the Crucible.
3. Earn Motes of Light and trade them for an Osiris Coin.
4. Use the Osiris coin to begin the Trials of Osiris. You must win either 10 times in a row, or 25 times overall.
5. Finish The Third Test through kills/headshots/killing sprees.

Name: Shattered Memory Fragment
Reward: Pocket Infinity (fusion rifle)
Steps:
1. Search the Shattered Coast on Venus for the damaged Ghost.
2. Beat a Vex Gate Lord in a heroic story mission.
3. Get 10 Fusion Rifles of rare and higher difficulty, and disassemble them.
4. Play the weekly Nightfall event and use a Fusion Rifle to get 200 kills.

Name: Toland’s Legacy
Reward: Bad Juju (pulse rifle)
Steps:
1. Complete a heroic/epic Strike mission.
2. Complete 25 Strike missions overall.
3. Go to Xur, Agent of the Nine, and buy a darkness-infused weapon frame with a Strange Coin.
4. Go to the Crucible and earn 10,000 points through fighting.

Name: A Dubious Task
Reward: Invective (shotgun)
Steps:
1. Complete 5 Strike missions in a row without dying.
2. Play matches at the Crucible until your Kills to Death ratio hits 25.
3. Complete the weekly Heroic Strike mission.
4. Go to the Gunsmith and give him 50 special weapon ammo packs so he gives you an Invective component. (He sells special weapon ammo packs if you don’t have enough to trade.)
